All of our violin teachers are qualified and certified by internationally acclaimed music examination boards, music colleges and universities. We can even show you their certificates physically or digitally.
Our teachers have qualifications and certifications from ABRSM, Trinity College London, London College of Music, from Grade 8 to Associate to Fellowship Diploma levels.
They are also graduates of distinguished music colleges including NAFA, Singapore Raffles Music College, NUS Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, holding Bachelors, Masters, and even Doctorate Degrees from top music universities in Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, United Kingdom, USA.
We also have teachers who are accomplished professionals in the music industry, including Singapore Symphony Orchestra violinists, concert artists, pop violinists, orchestra conductors, music composers, music college lecturers, and adjudicators for music competitions.
And most importantly, our teachers are mainly local Singaporeans or Singapore PR who are based here for long term, not foreign teachers on short-term work passes.

Till date, we have blacklisted 13 private violin teachers who we fail to adhere to our standards. (Some are still teaching in schools or privately too, so take note!)

We Help You Gain Performance Experience!
Learning the violin is not just about playing alone at home, or taking exams only.
We believe in grooming students with good playing skills, with the confidence of performing in any live setting, on any stage.
Hence, we organise our regular Happy Music Recitals so our students gain valuable performance experience, and showcase their music and passion in front of their loved ones in an encouraging environment.
And our students don’t just perform once a year. We hold performances every few months!
Besides solo performances, we also have group performances too!
The Happy Violinist has participated in group public performances, such as the World Strings Day organised by Global Strings Federation.
In the most recent WSD event, our teachers and students was part of the 300-strong orchestra performing at Gardens By The Bay for Singapore National Day’s celebration.

Looking to take your violin journey to the next level? We welcome you to participate in our annual Happy Music Festival!
Every year, we welcome hundreds of passionate violinists and pianists from Singapore and other countries performing in solo or duo or ensemble categories, with their performances adjudicated by top local and international musicians and pedagogues.
Through the festival, performers also get the opportunity to perform on grander, renowned stages, such as the Esplanade Recital Studio!
We give you priority access to World Class Concerts & Masterclasses
We collaborate with concert organisers who arrange performances by world-class artists in Singapore.
Till date, our Happy Violinist teachers and students get priority booking and promotional rates for concerts by famous German Crossover Violinist David Garrett, StrIVngs orchestra concerts, and ADDO Kids Orchestra concerts
We create educational tools to make music learning fun for you!
